With over 15 years of experience as a professional musician, Nate Barnes has drummed with artists such as Pete Townshend, Warren Haynes, Leslie West, Mary Chapin Carpenter, Ryan Bingham, Rose Hill Drive, Grace Potter, Matisyahu, and many others.  He has toured the world headlining shows and opening for acts such as The Who, Van Halen, Aerosmith, Willie Nelson, Stone Temple Pilots, The Black Crowes, Queens Of The Stone Age, Jane’s Addiction, and more.  In addition to collaborating and recording with legendary producers/engineers Brendan O’Brien, Jim Scott, and Nick DiDia, he has also co-produced and co-written 4 critically acclaimed, full length albums with his band Rose Hill Drive.  His drumming is featured on 2 releases from Oscar and Grammy award winning artist Ryan Bingham ("Fear And Saturday Night" and "Ryan Bingham Live"), and he is the touring drummer for multiple Grammy award winner Mary Chapin Carpenter.

Nate is also an accomplished composer and has had his works placed with HBO, Ford, Target, Great Clips, Dish Network, Whirlpool, and many others.  He has performed on multiple national TV shows, and has had songs selected to be in video games (Guitar Hero 5, Tony Hawk Ride, Stubbs The Zombie).  In 2014, he did the score for the movie "A Country Called Home"  along with Ryan Bingham and Daniel Sproul.  Nate also completed a Masters Certificate in Songwriting And Guitar, with elective course emphasis in engineering from the Berklee College of Music in 2011. He has logged countless hours in professional studios and is an in-demand session drummer, producer, and engineer.   He played over 200 shows each year from 2003-2008 with Rose Hill Drive, touring throughout the United States, Canada, and Europe.  Specializing in Rock, Pop, Indie, Country, Americana, and Folk, Nate has earned a reputation as one of the premier drummers in the Rocky Mountain area.  He has endorsements with Ludwig Drums, Sabian Cymbals, and Vic Firth Sticks.

Nate lives in Erie, CO with his wife Holly, son Lleyton, daughter Campbell, and dog Bailey.  He is also a die-hard Denver Broncos and Arsenal FC fan, and has been known to hack his way through a round of Golf from time to time.
